After my last post and some other timely posts I read on other photo blogs, I decided that this weekend I would dedicate some time to get out and shoot.  I wasn’t quite sure what I’d be doing, where I’d be.  I almost went to Toronto for a conference, but because of the weather Saturday, I decided to just stay in town.  But also because of the weather, I thought I’d do what any intrepid photog would do.  I went out to shoot.  I bundled up.  Wrapped my camera in a home made weather cover, grabbed the biggest ziplock I could find and headed out.  Actually I planned going out in the snow the night before.  I really wanted to get out and shoot in the snow storm.  But despite my best efforts I didn’t get many shots.  I could barely even keep my eyes open with the snow blowing.  But I did get out after the snow and did get some interesting shots.  It felt good to get out again.

This sign I saw my first day in town, and I knew I wanted to shoot it.  I never could decided what time of day or the conditions, or even how to frame it.  But then I was walking by on Saturday and I decided to give it a shot.  Well thats my story for today.
