The rain washed out this months London Ontario Photo Walk so I’m posting a photo from the last photo walk instead. It could have been an interesting walk along the river, and I thought about going anyways and doing the walk. The weather however, proved to be kind of miserable (dark and rainy) and I didn’t really want to risk my camera in the rain so I just stayed home.
I spent a lot of time this weekend just wandering about. I wanted to take photos while I wandered, but I just didn’t find anything that seemed to produce a worthwhile photo. I even went to the library to look at some photo books to see if I could find some inspiration. I saw a lot of great photos, but inspiration was no where to be found.
A note about photo books from the library. I think of the 4-5 books I’ve looked at in recent weeks, all have had photos torn out of them, which really disappoints me. These books are there for all to look at and enjoy, but someone has thought that they only deserved to see certain pictures. It is for this reason, that I’m glad I don’t pay for the privilege of using the library (although, maybe if we did have to pay, people would respect the materials more).
